Argosy FP6902 Module 1 Assignment 3 Presidential Stalkers
Psychology is defined as “the scientific study of the behavior of individuals and their mental processes” (Gerrig & Zimbardo, 2002). Psychologists strive to understand why people commit certain behaviors, their process of thinking, and several other facets in an effort to understand the human mind. Since its development in approximately 1879, the field of psychology has come a long way. It has now branched into several fields and is also being applied to forensics and criminal law. We strive to understand what drives individuals to commit crimes, whether it be outside influences, mental illness, or something different all together.
