Argosy FP6902 Module 3 Assignment 2 Case Analysis
John Doe’s childhood history of difficulties has resulted in him being arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography. Upon being arrested, John Doe consented to questioning. It is essential to ask varying questions in order to get a glimpse of his history as well as assess his personality type and suicide risk. These questions should pertain to his educational and family background as well as his medical history (ADHS, 2007, p. 2).
When conducting an assessment, it is often easiest to start at the beginning. The beginning of the questioning should consist of questions pertaining to John Doe’s childhood. Questions that would be beneficial to ask include:
• How would you describe your childhood? Would you say you were happy or sad?
• What was your mood like when you were at home?
