Every adult asks the question how did I become the person I am today? The answer to that question starts in childhood and continues through adolescence and finally adulthood. Some are motivated to become somebody including parents, peers, a moral compass, temperament, and a strong sense of self are things that help us become successful. Social and personality development embraces these and several other influences on the growth of the child. How we develop into unique individuals is based on the personality we choose and the social groups we choose to be with as adolescence. The influences we endure when we are young can draw the map of who we become. Studying social and personality development offers viewpoints on these and other issues, often by demonstrating how complicated and comprehensive the influences are on developing children, and therefore the complex processes that has made a developing child who they are through adolescence through adulthood....
